"We had the opportunity to have Carl Finley build our family's home in 2001. The actual building process took approximately 4 months, went very smoothly and our home was done when it was promised. We wanted a turn-key building process in which the house would be ready for us to move into (no painting, staining, or other "finishing" required by us), and that was what we received.

Although we had a specific house plan in mind when we contacted Carl, he offered several practical suggestions on ways to make better use of space in various rooms. He also found ways to create some extra storage areas for us. Because we had never built a home before, this was very helpful to us.

Once Carl drew our "finished" house plans, he gave us a very detailed estimate. With the exception of changes that we made, his figures were right on target with his original quotation.

After living in our new home fore over a year now, we are very pleased with the overall craftsmanship. We believe we got "good value" for our money. "Our first instinct to build a house was to find a builder with a good reputation. This will be the second house we have built. Ever since we were introduced to Carl Finley Builders, we have heard only good words about them. It has been true from our direct experience with them.

Time was crucial to complete the house in a short and efficient manner. Carl was aware of our situation and was eager to work with us to challenge the schedule. The house was completed earlier than anticipated. The actual construction took approximately 11 weeks and we moved in on the 12th week!
